Smile Rapture's music of all Music

Hey, blackhat again.(for the umth new threads these past weeks)
Okay, so i'm a HUGE fan of the 1930-40's music in this game. I've always liked the Mills Brothers and Billy Holiday, but there are certain songs in the game not found on the bioshock and bioshock 2 albums that I have grown to love sitting in loading screens and in front of jukeboxes in campaign. Is there some place in the credits or the website where I can find all tof the music, or a record/cd with everthing on it? If there's even a list, I'm sure some of the songs are on Itunes.

Try playing multiplayer with the music in one ear(headphone). It may sound crazy, but Billy Holiday, the Ink Spots, Bobby Darin and the Mills Brothers seem to have a positive effect on my headshots.

Wow im glad it's not just me with a passion for music from the 1930-40's era. I simply adore music of yesteryear. I grew up with Billie Holiday's music and no im not 87, 20 infact Theres just such a haunting beauty and soul to the music of that time.

Im afraid I don't know any of the songs played on the loading screens. Id love to know as well. Hopefully someone can help us out

Theres one song ive been meaning to look up for a while now. The one that plays near the machine gun turret on Kashmir. It goes something like "Oh I wish I....". I love it

I think these are some of the songs in the BS2 Multiplayer loading screens...

"Liza (All The Clouds'll Roll Away)" - Django Reinhardt.

"It's Bad For Me" - Rosemary Clooney.

"It Had To Be You" - Django Reinhardt.

Those are the ones I know.

I too am happy to hear others have a soft spot for that era of music.

I believe the song that plays in that spot is "If I Didn't Care" by The Ink Spots.

Though there are a few songs that were not included in the BS soundtracks, a quick google search of one or two lines from the song plus the word "lyrics" will usually get the title for you but you might have to sift through multiple artists.

Grooveshark actually has most of these songs, a search for "bioshock" brings up quite a bit on that site.

I got a liking for them too, however I've never looked up the artists but since there seems to be a simple search method for many of these songs on Grooveshark I will check it out.

The song is "Memories Of You", "If I Din't Care" actually plays in the Kashmir restaurant in the beginning of the Bioshock 1 Campaign.

I think Persephone's (not Inner Persephone) loading screen plays: "Daddy, Won't You Please Come Home?" by Annette Hanshaw.

I feel like such an idiot for not knowing any of the artists behind the songs. Lol.

Lke I think I was hearing it in a movie or something, and was silently singing along with it in my head.

    And we're on a sub-sub-forum about BioShock 2, Nerds everywhere!1!exclamationmark!1one
