What would be an ideal major for college, that would catch 2k's eye?

I'm looking to be apart of the 2k team...So I am going back to school for this reason.
I have a vast knowledge already, video game design experience, art directing, project development, etc. 10+ years in computer languages, scripting, graphic assembling, concept art, design.. and even have worked within small design firms that wanted to make video games - (lead art director, storyboard artist) but alas, i would like to formally educate myself within the field of video games, just to be more of an asset for a company like 2k. ( I actually would like to apply for a job in 2k Boston)

I've been having trouble finding the proper majors to enlist in, (for i am going back to school for video game design/concept development). Do you have any ideas as to what would help? I'm going back to school specifically to further develop my skills for this industry, and any pointers would be very helpful! I would like to be on the right track! Thank you so much!

At least a BS in Computer Science is pretty much what companies want it seems. But with all your experience I would tell you to set down with some friends and come up with an idea for a game you could do yourself or with a little help. Try to sell it and keep trying to you find something that will make you a metric ass-ton of cash.

I've always found that the best way to figure out what companies want from their employees is to read the job listings that they have. 2K posts all the job openings they have at each of their locations on their website, including the qualifications for each. You'd be surprised at how many jobs ask for more requirements than just coding or computing experience. It depends on what type of position you want, tbh.

I know that Liz, our esteemed head community manager, has (I believe) an English major along with marketing experience (I may be wrong, it's been a while since I read the article that came out about her during SitS), but if you're looking for more game-making oriented jobs you should just check out what they want from people.

This is 2K's "jobs" page. Take a look at what kind of jobs are being hired for and some of the educational requirements. They might help you out

Edit: Oh, yeah. Irrational (2K Boston) does it's own hiring on their own website, located here.
