Betrayal of Jimmy - Missing DLC code

Hi, I bought Mafia 2 for the PS3 yesterday. 1st off, it's a brilliant game and I love it! However, there was no DLC code inside for the Betrayal of Jimmy as it is stated on the box. The game was brand new in sealed plastic so it wasn't 2nd hand. I opened a ticket with 2k support ticket #1125 but having worked in tech support before, I know there can be delays so wanted to check with you guys if this has happened to anyone else?
I read a post that seaid they were out of codes and this has me worried because I just would have bought a 2nd hand game or better yet the Directors cut. I heard great things about Joes Adventure and would like to get it at some point but want to get this DLC sorted first.

What we have seen quite a lot with this game (and Borderlands) is retailers selling 2nd-hand games in which the code has already been used. You should make sure that this is not the case, and even request that they exchange the game for you.

Not sure if it is the case with this particular game but when packaged a lot of games are digitally weighed, and as a result would not be shipped incomplete.

It could however be a geniune mistake and if so, we have a procedure and I shall take that support ticket. It would however be considerably quicker to resolve the situation with the store, if you can.

Thanks for the quick reply Ian. I called the store and because I actually opened the game and used it (removed the plastic seal) they can't exchange it, they can only offer me a trade in price for the half of the amount They confirmed it was a brand new copy they sold me as was wrapped in plastic. Hopefully 2K can resolve this for me.

I just bought the game this afternoon and I am also missing the DLC code. The game was brand new and sealed, definitely not second hand.

How do I go about getting a replacement code?

If you just submit a standard support ticket explaining the situation you will be asked for proof-of-purchase (usually in the form of a photograph/scan of the game/receipt, under 1MB in size please) and we should be able to handle it from there.
