update available loop?

Every time that I log into Windows Live I get the message that a update is available. If I don't volunteer for the update then I can't save my game. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the first time I logged on it seemed okay. Now it's asking again. What up?

I looked around I read something about renaming the 'Bioshock2' to 'Bioshock 2x' in the Documents directory. I tried this but when I reinstalled the game it just created another 'Bioshock2'. What the F?

Come on! I've already played through this game when I first bought it. Why all the problems now. I have other games that run Windows Live. Do they have anything to do with this? Help someone. I'm having trouble with another game and am trying to play through BS2 to occupy my OCD need to play.

Renaming the Bioshock2 folder would be for something else really... (and the principle of that is you want it to create a new one).

I think the best thing to try first would be simply removing GfWL and downloading the latest version from www.gamesforwindows.com
