Why isn't "hi-jacking the boats/planes" an option? That's what I'm doing.
Pre-order @Gamestop---Bos edition.
Amazon BoS edition.
What if I'm pre-ordering it, which is buying from a retailer?
Or what if someone else is pre-ordering it, which is buying online?
Isn't buying online the same as downloading? I don't get what the difference is. You're not talking about downloading illegally, are you? Because talking about that isn't allowed in these forums.
Sorry, your poll options don't make a lot of sense.
You can buy it boxed from an online store or you can buy a digital download.
So there is a difference.![]()
I am pre-ordering a download from a box in a retail store though the internet... I asked for this special... just to skew the poll.
(hehehe)

I'm not sure if I'll buy retail or online. I'd like to have a box....but that ugly box...ugh. I guess I can always print out my own.
I will probably buy the boxed set from a retailer like Gamestop, activate the game on Steam, then install from the dvd. Unless Steam offers a good discount for pre-purchase, then I will buy the game through Steam.
For my kids, I will probably buy through Steam, and then use the DVD to install on their computers.
That way I do not have to download for a week. Between my kids and I, we have 3 gaming computers in the house. Lets say that Duke is 7 gigs, for all of us to download that is 21 gigs of data. To stop all of the downloading, I like to buy 1 boxed set and use the disk to install the game.
Or,,,, if Steam offers a package deal of some kind, like all of the Duke games for 1 low price, then I would buy through Steam.
I pre-ordered the BOSE (PC) from Amazon pretty much as soon as it was available.
