LOL I've been sitting by my CPU all day with bloodshot eyes waiting for this thing. I had to check my calender a couple of times to remind myself it still is February. I guess all of the EMF from the CPU made me a little hazy. I just hope it'll be here before my eyes pop out and my brain gets baked.

I doubt it would detract from the obvious meaning; it might add more meaning, though.
In the original patch notes message Greg had an introduction from Dennis the Producer of Civ5 at Firaxis. This is probably the closest to saying it is due out in February and not just an ETA:
"This February patch comes at a great time for making balance changes; The five months since Civ V’s release has given us time to analyze "
Hm. I really like the choice of Polynesia. But, they probably didn't spend too much time on it and it's only just DLC to go along iwth the patch.
I might get them if I like the patch.
This is the very first time Polynesia has made it into the game series! It's nice to see that the Firaxis team really do listen to us!
Can't wait to play as them, but I have to wait for American time to catch up. :S

I hope I don't have to be glued to my couch and CPU again today waiting for something to be released. I did an all night session just to finish my current game before Polynesia is released and I'm already grumpy from being nuked in 3 of my 6 cities LOL!

How come they're using the east asian art style for polynesia?
So I guess the next patch will come out when the next DLC is ready? This is how it seems now. Maybe we get a minor patch inbetween but the major patch will not come out until there is a DLC.
So will this mean, that if the DLCs start slowing down that major patches will stop coming as well?

Pete is the Marketing Associate at Firaxis. He's a really swell guy and he does pretty much all of these voice-over walkthroughs that we have made.
Question on how the Maori Warrior works: Does it keep the "terrorizing" ability as it is upgraded to Swordsman and beyond, like the Jaguar Warrior keeps its healing ability? Also, what %age does it diminish enemy units' strength?
