game 2 double Aztecs. I had to leave as soon as the game started, but played anyway hoping for an early win. I think I would have had it, but I lost a 2 v 1.5 horse V horse and then that horse took my militia. After we each had 2 caps, but when he took back his it was going to be a longer game and I didn't have the time. So I guess I forfeited that one.
Made one mistake that game. After I teched hbr I set my tech to alph, but I was next to a goodie. I wanted gold so I shouldn't have set my tech.

in checking your gt ty i noted your question about the origin of your xbox tag. they look like some bad-a$$ movies. do they need to be watched in order to get the full scope? all 3 are available on netflix instant streaming.
My old gamertag oh-dae-su. Well Ive only seen Oldboy, and I love that movie, but its really violent and not for everyone. I think I will check out the rest soon.
I lost to morte. Game 1 he had a fast Aztec start. I misclicked when it said do u want to attack? And lost my WA. I probably lose anyway since he had two HAs and a galley fast.
Game 2 I started well but played poorly. I got Atlantis earl and the gp. I went fundie but my attacks were scattered. I ran into Greece early, and could have taken any other ai. He took two AIs and Russia reapply late which I couldn't believe they didn't build a AA. Anyway I wish I would have moved my first WA east not north. I could have been at his cap in 10 turns with a WA that would be fundie.
Morte always plays well, but I tend to do my worst against him. The first game I actuallly said no to attacking, and the 2nd game I was just off. I wish Russia wouldn't have gave up their cap so late, or that I didn't run into Greece. However, I could have played better. Oh well I'll be back, and as always I learn from my mistakes.

my aztec vs spain, dont you just love it when you here morte say "i know this map" ha, he gets angor watt bout 3500 switches 2 communism and finds millions of gold i get krakorum and not much else except we both grab the KT at the same time and get a Knight each!(neva seen that before) anyways i put up some brave battles but he has like 10 galleons around the world before 2000bc, and the pyrimads but the real crusher was morte flipping my barrack legion making city.

me and morte played a roman vs roman match after these games, i have my strat for using them and as iv stopped caring about ranking up i use them alot more because i think counting apples is fun, i eventually won this game but i had the help of 7cog, and i expanded but i noticed you morte expanded better with less money and had more roads! so for the first time ever i read a strategy concerning the romans(that you wrote) and tho it was written like 500years ago it is a bloody good and an amazing piece of work. my style of roman usage has been 2 'double grow my main settler pump 'so iv banked enough apples(in ancient)2 pump out 2-3 settlers and still get back 2 2pop relatively quickly but i also use the use of ancient rush costs 2 the best of my wallets ability. some1 recently complained about us new bloods not giving credit 2 the frontier players of this game and that all we do is steal other peoples strats and think we are good, well im here 2 say No! i know im good im just not the best ,and its not my fault i wasnt around back in 2008 or weneva the game came out)but 1 thing i do know is,up until now the only strat from these forums iv ever implemented into my game is the fast track oxford bomber. but now iv read your final roman strat morte(first time actually reading a civ strat) i can understand why sum oldtimer here wants credit 2 be given where its due, your clarity and vision was way ahead of your time mr!.
but i will stick with my roman strat because its way more successful.....hehe
Well said Maw, oxford was the main thing I learnt here on the forums.We have both spoken and are in agreeance that we are on the forums too meet quality opponents and peolpe who love this game.Also to have some fun.I haven't sat there and read strats and called them my own too.Once you play a zillion games lol, you learn things buy your self.
Im not saying all the kick ass strats by morte grayson etc are bad I just haven't read them like you Maw.But in all fairness the italian don(MORTE) is the king of civrev in my opinion.Duke is a close second in my opinion.

Defended the fourth time, now I'm going to bed. These last games went much better.
