I think you should just replay the match. I don't know what happened, but I give the benefice of doubt to Grizz as he clearly deserves it for his contribution to the game/forum.
Come on Itz, just replay, don't put a ☺☺☺☺ty mood on the forum, just for a king title. If Grizz did that, he will feel like ☺☺☺☺ for a few days I'm sure.

Lets just say it is impossible for someone to think they were on an island in that situation, especially at 3600 when the AI greeks are 5 tiles away and you are the Zulu... I had 93 and sold a warrior that turn. You were 5 tiles away from the ai how could you possibly think you were on an island and you were the Zulu? They are the easiest to discover if you are on an island or if you aren't. Also why did you leave immediately? Also didn't you say you have to be 100 percent before you call it? It was funny because you had 2 ai's to your left and I had none. Pretty sure I could've taken you out with 2 vet WA's but calling an island when it obviously wasn't was completely stupid on your part especially when you had access to 2 Ai's and I had none... Part of me wishes I would've just quit immediately so I wouldn't know the truth, but part of me is glad I did because now I know to check everyone since you never truly know someones character...

Admit you were lying and I will give you a restart, otherwise no. AI 5 tiles away and you thought you were on an island is just stupid. Multi saw it and I tried to show Maw and Prey but they couldn't join unfortunately. So 1. I am lying and making a big deal out of nothing because I wanted an easy win. Or 2. Like I said if I thought there was even the smallest chance someone could've misconstrued that start as an island I wouldn't have thought twice about it, I've said I was pretty sure I was on an island before but it ended up not being one because 1 tile connected to the mainland, yes it happens. I still make sure it is an island though. But being in the middle of the map as the Zulu and making no effort to even make sure it was an island is just a ridiculous lie. So you are the stupidest person to ever play this game ever, or you lied. Pretty sure you lied but hey maybe you are that stupid...
In my experience most people I have checked for island starts have been wrong (yes more than 50%) I make no call as to whether they are just liberal in calling island or if they are not entirely honest but maybe we should reconsider allowing island restarts OR just make it clear that you can't restart unless you KNOW it is an island (this debate entirely aside). The concequence obviously being that the other side can check and if your are wrong its a default.

Default is fine by me. It practically is a default anyways if you start on an Island so I have no problem with that. But he is basically calling me stupid by saying he was on an island after he got a bad start. I know any player that has played this game any amount of time at all would know it wasn't an island...
Ive never called it when I wasnt sure before...I miscalled it this time....not denying that. Ill make sure Im positive next time........I figured that since I was cool and had just given him a restart being on a huge island the game right before he would give me the benefit of the doubt....guess I was wrong....my mistake wase giving him a restart in the first place......the rules are no restarts unless the island is 7 tiles or smaller....his was larger than that and I already had about 90 bucks so I shouldnt have allowed his restart in the first place......I wont be using my normal fairplay standards anymore by giving people restarts for islands anymore unless its like the rules say and its 7 tiles or less...... my blunder in the restart was leaving the game before I was sure.....I wont be giving up my king title based on a little mistake like that though(especially after offering him the restart in the first place)....Im actually surprised DENI3d would take such a cheap win and wouldnt want to actually earn it.....him calling me stupid doesnt really bother me that much its just ITZ style of trying to start something, we have all seen it before
You had no problem taking the title from me with 2 cheap wins so I have no problem with doing it to you. Wasn't a huge island either, less than 20. Should've just not lied about it, thats what made me the most angry. You can keep this title, I will just take it from a more worthy opponent when you lose it, you and I both know what happened so enjoy it while you can...

Denied, you are a punk. You have the most "island" starts over anyone I have ever played. it is close to 35-40% of my games with you yet I have always given you restarts without verifying them. I would say at least 8 island starts in the last 2 weeks. I even played through an island start that you ended up winning due to an awesome mainland start by you and the one game I called an island start you stayed in to verify I was on an island. I don't say it is until I know it is. You should've called it then, you said you didn't care so not my problem but I figured you would ☺☺☺☺☺ about it later. I like Mawapawk and Scottie's idea. Declare peace before you leave so your opponent can verify and if it happens to not be an island it is an automatic forfeit. It should be like this from now on seems completely fair and doesn't leave any room for someone to cheat and lie...
My god it is not like we are playing for money or world recognition outside of the maybe 20 of us on the forum. It is a game, it is supposed to be fun. not so damn serious. I just will stop playing people I cannot trust. I will not start checking peoples island starts. If I can't trust the person I will just not play them. Well done itz. U earned ur wins. I had a good settle location with china and took out japan but u fliped that cap a soon as I took it at 2900 and stole my 2nd barb and won that 6-6 ha vs wa last ditch effort. Only game I got screwed over was that awful last game we started near each other and I started in a masive desert with no trees. I walked for 4 turns and could only see 3 trees which ncluded the 2 I started with
