next my greece vs his egypt - out settlers met and I settled being greece. he walked arund me and found the germans. I then got some Horses up and went to get him eventually finding him next to a hill and kiling him
third england vs england. I found Great wall and saw lots of dye - looked like a good start but he got spain for nav and teched up fast to engineering then did some galleon drops and killed me.

I got a good start (we met and you ran away so i got a few turns advantage) and then I landed 3 warriors just by your cap. you couldnt dislodge them and meanwhile I was getting good gold etc so you gave up

a rather unbalanced set of games against scottie , but i would like 2 mote that on our last game i was greeks and he japan, i took a cap but scottie chased legions which i think was a great move , but my early expansion managed 2 produce 45gld per turn which was enough 2 hold off his 3 legion army attcks, so the key wining point was not 2 dick arpound with horse armies and such but count apples instead, that + his island start won the day, by the way scottie it cant have been 2 bad of a start 2 get a galley and 3 legion armies 2 my doorstep
just 2 LA and 1 single plus the galley and 100g setter for that city near you. That was the minimum i needed. other than that I'd have jsut quit earlier.
Germans were about to roll my 2nd city because i had so little left. I needed to win the 3 vs 3 or the 6 vs 4.5 or whatever that was.

game 4 was greek vs greek, i went the horse rush then expansion route but got in trouble when breezy found a tank and started terrorizing my empire luckily a pikearmy managed 2 kill it and i had a clear run 2 oxford bombers(which i allowed 4 this 1 game) managed 2 snatch the GB from the mongols just b4 he had the same idea.

Played Mawpawk in a double whammy title fight for this and the civchordz.
He murdered me 3-0.
My Greeks vs his English. It was so bad I think I’ve blotted it from my mind and can’t remember any details. But he found me early and starved me of gold while getting about 250 himself and knights as his 4th tech with a GL.
My Japanese vs his Egypt (Oracle), Again he finishes a barb for me while I get ABC from another. HA outside my cap at 3000bc for the win.
My Egypt (HGB) vs his Greeks. This lasted a little longer, but was no better play wise from me. I had an island start but eventually got a HA to the mainland working on the English, but stupidly took peace to heal my army and it was sent half round the world back to my cap. Got the Great Wall and flipped Tripoli that Mawpawk had taken earlier, built some Legions as a last ditch attempt to infiltrate from Tripoli but failed miserably. He had expanded well with the 7 cities gold.
We started another series straight after, got to 1-1 but I had to run out and collect the kids so we scrapped it for reasons that will be revealed below. Worth mentioning the first game here though His Egypt took Rome (CoL), Tripoli (Religion) and Zimbabwe and 7 cities all very early. I never stood a chance.

The next title defence for Mawpawk was a 3 for all. Mawpawk, Duke and I.
They both conspired to make me look like a total noob (well, no, I did a pretty damn good job of that myself, thank you very much).
First up. Japan (me) vs Double England.
I walk a bit and only pick up 10g. No matter, settle close to a barb and the Zulu. I can take the barb then get 3 warriors over to Zimbabwe quick style, right? Wrong, Mawpawk finishes the barb for me with a horse. That was more or less game over for me right there. Stuck in my cap while Mawpawk runs his horses around stealing my barbs. I soldiered on a bit losing a warrior army at the Zulu cap then eventually losing my cap to Zulu at the great hilarity of the others, that’s right guys, kick a guy when he’s down.
Don’t think anyone got 100g but Duke the eventual winner.
Next up, My English vs Duke’s Egyptians and Mawpawk’s Japanese. ‘Pawk obviously doesn’t like the match up so calls an ‘island’ restart and switches to the Greeks.
I moved a couple of turns, got some gold and settled a fairly dodgy spot (OK for production) having spotted the Egyptian borders. He has Colossus. Pretty confident my warrior army can do some damage getting to him at 3400bc but he has aready taken Rome (CoL) and has 100g, FFS? I spam warriors at him stepping on his desert tiles and try to be a pain. My efforts are futile regarding me having any chance – don’t know if I slowed him enough for Mawpawk to have a chance?
I don’t know the result of this one.
Anyway, what chance did I have? Up against Mawpawk’s mind games and I’m now certain Duke is said glitcher, I mean, look at that game – he must be. Hahaha

Haha, gangbang. It was a fun game. Pawk got 2 pikes on my deserts which really slowed me down as I had no water tiles in Thebes. greek vs greece. almost had him a couple of dumb moves and bad battle luck events cost me
englands vs greece - past my bed time so I had to go sleep.

i not iced on that last game that the monarchy you sold 2 the indians was being a pain in the bum for ya, well if i see jack or you first we can continue ,i think well forget that 3 way title battle as that would take foreva
i dont remember selling them monarchy - if i did that was pretty stpid as i didnt need the gold... hmmmm...
but the culture thing wasnt a major issue.
I had a little guy to take it back every turn while the main unit contined to beat him up. but I looked at the time and realised i wasnt getting anywhere near fast enough. i did somthing a little stupid then figred I really had no chance of winning without ruining my monday morning.
being you, you'd probably have crushed me but I hadnt checked what you were up to

So..... as we left you last episode i was 0-2 and looking down the barrel of a mawpawk style hiding.
I'd used my two best civs and my gun was pretty much out of bullets. But i wandered into the lobby anyway and ordered a martini..shaken not stired...
This martini took the form of the egyptians. I wandered a bit and finally settled between 3 barbs. I figred i had wasted a bit of time but good news was i got the colosus to his oracle. I started to collect gold and then met his warrior as i was attacking my 2nd barb. Trouble now since i needed more time for the colossus to show its power.
I killed the barb for a caravan which showed me greece and I got the caravan to it the same turn and killed his warrior from a hill. he killed my horse but I got him back with a second horse from a hill thanks to the gold i got from the caravan. I then armied up and went and killed greeks for democracy. Now things were looking good - i had gold for pikemen now so i prepared to by them then i saw his horse on a hill and really quickly jumped in and attacked him beating him in the button race and killing his HA. mawpawk yeilds.
next game japan vs japan.
i start off pretty slow no gold for ages bt i settle on fish. I see zulu and decide to just threaten them as i need the gold. i then hear he has met the egyptians (which a barb showed me earlier) who have the colosus. I get my 100g and send a ha to the egyptians to try to defend their cap. sadly mawpawk kills them first and i make a dmb move into the introdction zone so that he knows i am close.
mawpawk however moves his ha two sqares towards me - just what i was hoping.
mawpawk sees my ha waiting for him and groans .. yes ha kills his ha.
i now go on to thebes and take that too. mawpawk yeilds.
3rd game
my english vs mawpawks egypt. he gets oracle i think.
I was feeling confident now - I have been practising english nad my opening is pretty good, and even colosus might be OK.
I wander a bit and find i am on the end of a stupid peninsular with no ai. I setle anyway, trying notto waste too much time, i expand a bit and find 1 dye.
I then see mawpawk. he kills my forward warrior (uuugh) in a bit of a button race. I now have no units anywhere near him or any ai. so that hurt me.
but soon after i discover aw for great wall.
I now contine to expand as fast as i can but i cant compete with mawpawk who has tonnes more gold (apparently or maybe better forests?) but my GP comes up and it is a ga.
damn was hoping for a gs - I guess alpha from a hut screwed me, but i have a plan for all GP
resyncs were happening constantly and I was loosing turns on various things all over the place - but only one at a time so it wasnt too bad. I was still able to stick to my plan.
so, never mind, i send a settler marching across the continent about 20 sqares or somthing to get to his cities, SETTLER RUSH!
I now settle in the middle of his empire and prep for the assault. we stop for a bit to discuss how he wants great wall to work and I build 2 archers in my city 1 for his attack and 1 to hold the city. Only two archers in my city in the middle of his empire which was a big mistake because I then realised there would be a diplo vs attack race on the 2nd turn which meant the 2A were useless, they of course were both killed.
Never mind, I took two of his cities in exchange. then we had peace again. I kept testing what city my GA would flip trying to get a good one - but knew that it wasnt going to be worth it yet.
I built some more units and then lanched a 2nd attack this time taking out a couple of useless cities so that when he took one back off me it was the flip city. i fliped it and got the elite HA (i could tell it must be march which was nice).
mawpawk yeilds - new king!
we played the next few turns and i continued to gut his empire as well as poping a gh for an extra pop in all of my cities, which would have been pretty good.

who else was playing mawpawk - anyone can play me but i guess ill give you guys priority if you are both on at the same time... err.. yeah...

of particular interest was when mawpawk asked me if i was high because I was acting erratically
paraphrasing...
"are you drunk?"
"are you stoned?"
"come on mate... you can tell me..."
haha ! maybe it was that i was building galleys in all my cities - or that i teched legions but never used them except for the free one.
Or maybe it was because i didnt rage quit or suicide a great start

he built 2 HA and I defended with some warriors and a HA. a bit of luck got be both his HA
england vs england
he gs'd feud and I GB'd sam castle and got fundy, I then sent quite a few legions his way.
japan vs Greece
I expanded and he grew his city (i think). expansion won the day.

Congrats, my second try at this tilte and obliterated 3-0 again (first time at the hands of 'pawk)
The only decent game I gave you, felt I had a shot here, but as always, your superior tactics won the day. GG.
This is a contender for the most frustrating game I have ever played. On the face of it, it must have looked ok from you side (although you were doing quite nicely anyway!).
I walked and picked up 35g, spotted some brownish borders and settled a balanced spot with fish thinking I'm getting a walk in on the Japanese circa 3300. Turns out it was Beijing - why the eff do they not explore. Never mind, I can take the barb and 'el breacher' them. Rush a warrior and head over to the now 3 flag barb, it's on a hill and attacks me .75 - 1 and wins, oh ffs. buy the next warrior and the very same result, I have never known anything like it. My third takes the 3 flags, Vet WA takes Chinese, but already far too much time wasted.
Warrior army takes another barb for a caravan, explore a bit and about to send it to the arabs just as Scottie takes them out for religion. My WA then finds Aztecs walking a settler, Kill an archer but they have rushed another, Scottie then kills my WA with legions and takes the Aztec city.
I get a culture GS so pop Feud for the free knight to try and get some gold, find a barb with it and Scottie being in Fundy and GB'd Sams Castle killed it straight off a galley. I conceded. Never seen 1 dye tile either.
One of the worst games I have ever given you I think. Completely deflated from the last going into this 'must win' and I done absolutely nothing. Scottie kills my first warrior early and i'm a bit boxed in.
Scottie gets CoL as fourth tech and expands like crazy. I should have come at you with some legions, a slim chance maybe but better than the no chance I gave myself doing nothing.
Feel free to challenge again if you see me. Lets put some life back in this title
Will do Scottie. I don't know what's happened lately - I had a decent little run taking the NZ title and doing OK in REDAF's league, but you make me feel like a noob again.

this time it was tough. I got stomped greece vs england - map gave me no chance.
my england beat his greece with legions and at the end knights
I had a good game japan vs egypt where he called it before i got to him
my henge egypt got beaten by his japan in a game where we settled very close. In this one I got to his forests fast but he just got veted on my units and then got to my cap just in time to kill me before i got reinforcements back. That was a game i should have won
finally my greeks out teched his egyptians.
