Why can't I end my turn without picking a policy?

Hello all,

I am getting very frustrated I have seen many posts on the strategy forum, stating that you can "save" policy selections, its even in the manual that you can just right click the button to skip past the selection screen?

However each time, I have tried to use either of the two End Turn commands, or just right click the button as the manual instructs, nothing happens? is there something I am missing, or was this changed?

It was changed in the last patch

when you set up a game, you can check and option to save policies.

click on "advanced"

This is also true for promotions it won't let you end a turn unless all unit promotions have been done UNLESS you check the box when you setup a game that allows you to save promotions
