Sudden Slowness in The game

Well, I always played bioshock in my computer but i started to play other games and totally forgot about bioshock. This days i wanted to play it again but i couldn't play as well as i played it before.
After 10 minutes or less of game it begin to slow, my computer is always with the most recent drivers and my computer supports bioshock perfectly because i played it perfectly before.
My computer settings:
3GB Ram ( Configured to 2GB of minimum RAM and 3 GB of maximium)
1GB of Video Memory (GeForce Biostar 9400 series - with drivers)
Pentium D (2 Cores of 3,00 GHz)
HD 160 GB
Please help me! I know it's not the right section to mention this game but i'm having the same problems with Borderlands.

Do you know what handles anti-virus/firewall on your computer?

Try the game with this disabled. May well be the cause of the issue. Let me know if not (and apologies for the delay)
