Critical change necessary for one on one MP game.

When playing one on one MP, there is a critical fault making cheating too easy. Whoever stores the game, can access it after saving the current session. Thus, that player could play out the save game and find out all his opponent's locations and resources.

The next patch for MP should not allow access to that saved game unless both MP players are present for the game.

You are saying that MP games can be loaded in SP? In my experience that is not true, we even have to have proxy players join a MP game in the staging room to launch a MP save game, and then drop after the first turn leaving an AI in place.

I believe the MP game can be manually transferred to the proper SP folder and loaded. I haven't tested this since I never have played MP Civ V.

It can and it loads, but you can't do anything with it, the game will not let you end your turn as the other MP players are not actually present. I just tested this, so there is very little to be gained by loading a MP auto save as a SP autosave.

I would prefer Firaxis completely disable loading MP saves in SP, but really there is nothing to be gained by doing so, you can not explore the map to any extent past what you already have seen in the game. So I'm not sure were your original claim comes from since you yourself have stated you don't play MP.
