Now to add steps an inside and make it all in water!
1.8 is OFFICIALLY OUT!![]()

Need to enjoy it before I get Dead Island tomorrow.
I had forgotten to add the Minecraft sites to my favorites again until just recently.
Also, found a world generation glitch. I'd share it, but I don't have my screenshot program back yet. There's an island, and the water around it just kind of drops a level, so the island and the tree on it can survive. It made the island too short and had to make up for it.
You all wonder why I haven't been here lately?
1.8 is taking over my life. OH GOD, THAT RECONSTRUCTED CREATIVE MODE <3
I was wondering, I'm making a Bioshock map, should I stay with this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/6753139...8190/lightbox/ or make a new one?
I'm actually kind of disappointed by 1.8... it's not as cool as I'd imagined it. I do not like the new biomes, nor how the worlds are now generated. Really, the only thing about it I like are the glass panes. They're cool. Creative Mode would certainly be more fun for someone more artistic than I am, but that's just it- you'd have to be more artistic than me to enjoy it.
I dunno, maybe I'll get used to it. I really just don't know.
Creative Mode does have flying, just double tap the space bar to activate it. As for the glass panes, I went a little nuts and built a long underwater tunnel. Partially used MCEdit to make them, but did the rest in creative mode. The tunnels are based on the Rapture map from months ago.
The mountains are kind of boring and make my game lag, the mushroom forests are just weird, and the swamps are okay but don't feel very swampy (if Notch had used mud instead of dirt in swamps, it would probably be a lot more swampy). I kind of like the oceans, but they're too deep to be able to really build anything on-the-spot.
I've started a new save, so I don't have any 1.7 mixed into my 1.8, and I'm liking it a bit more.

I'm signing up.
My friends and I made a little server for ourselves and it's really fun.
Hey, can you set up servers through the Minecraft game itself now? I see a new place where you can name a server and give it an IP, but... does it work? I can't test it right now.
Actually you do.
Also, I think most of you will find this quite delicious....

Created a 1.8 server with my friends! Really fun, we took over a town and "pimped" them out!![]()
I don't want to look it up because I don't really care. I'd rather just wait for the less buggy full version to come out but I've got the file anyway.
I was repairing some of the damage I've done to the nearest town- damn, the game spawns a lot of zombies there at night. I guess that's Notch's excuse for why the villagers weren't there before.
