^^ i must agree with you.. The radio adds seemed to silly and un real expecially when your driving trough a beautifull and serious setting as Empire Bay.
Just kills the mood of the game in a way.
I have already moved on and this is my last day on the forum.. I traded in my copy of Mafia II to someone else who might want to try it without shoving money into 2K's pocket.

In all honesty i felt so disconnected with all the characters that i really didnt care at the end.. I wasnt inclined or excited to see whats next.. I just shrugged and that was it..

Well a ☺☺☺☺ up is usualy due to a mistake however they knew what they were doing thus this i would think would be worse then a ☺☺☺☺ up.
You missunderstood.. Thats what I got for the game when I traded it in.
So from the $60.00 plus tax price tag from only 2 weeks ago I got $27.50 in return for it.
I must say that when i traded in Mafia II and Just Cause 2 the price difference is stagering for how long eather one of them were out.l

yea i see Mafia 2 ending up in the resale bin within the coming month.. I already traded my copy in for something that i get better enjoyment out of.

I dont think its about the sad endings... I think the fact that they let you hang.. Plus with all the ☺☺☺☺ that Vito and Joe pulled it dont matter how many favours they have they both should have...

I find the ending very unsatisfing.. Its like watching a movie and half way trough it the movie ends without explination.

Frankly You dont see many games that are as fuged up as Mafia 2 is in its release state.
the thing with this game is that the story missions themselves felt like side missions in any other game. It was quite pathetic really.

No way im waseting more money and time on DLC's for this game. The only time i buy DLC's is when they add alot to the game but not add to finnish the game.

It dont matter cuz you loose it all no matter what as you progress through the story.
