Just to confirm: you CAN get the Oracle with Arabs in the game. Sucks to have such a lame culture bonus when they're in, but I guess that's the way the game works :( (learnt it the hard way).

What about Arabs in the game? They start with Religion and obsolete the Oracle from turn 1.

Trade refers to either Gold or Science. A Trading Post increases trade for desert squares, if I'm not wrong. Obviously, you need to work on them to get the bonus.

Also, you should play as Americans, because their x3 Factory production bonus really helps to get it in the late game.

Nope. A Civ's capital cannot be flipped through culture. Not sure about enemy civ's captured capitals though.

Happened to me once also...

I lost A LOT of progress (basically, I was in the 1900's and I lost the whole game). That's why now I save before every nuke launch. However, it has never happened...

So basically what you're saying is that you are helping people just to gain reputation (because it seems you barely comment on what other people say of your strategy) and you get kind of angry...
