I agree 100%. Honestly, its just idiots hopping on the bangwagon and complaining about something. Then, getting an option that is worse off, and loving it because someone on the interweb said they...

Sorry if that title drew you in. I'm wondering if it would be possible to enable a 'walk' mode and a 'run' mode in bioshock by modding user.ini. The lack of a run ability sort of killed the action...
Idea based on tweakguides, http://www.tweakguides.com/Bioshock_8.html

I'm getting lots of crackling that I can't seem to get rid of using a Creative Audigy LS.
No one else has any ideas?
I need to try one of these =P
I feel you, but I think if all the out of game menus and stuff were kept very very in world-- with the same mood and everything, I think it could be nice.
And I mean c'mon, we need some more hours...
Bump. =P it's been a while
Zap and whack. =P
I think everyone who doesn't suck agrees Bioshock for PC is too easy.
I'd like an insane difficulty.
I think the language is used sparingly and tastefully, but I do hope a mod comes along and fixes it for you and those like you.
But I absolutely do not want developers wasting their precious time...
Wow. I forgot to complain about that. It was SO annoying.
Wait for the 9 series!
I just got an 8800 GTS, and while it's great, I'm gonna feel like such a tool when the 9s come out.
This thread is genius. Keep them coming everyone =D
Quoted for truth. Lmao.
Fontaine was definitely easy.
Jesus, the boss battles in Lost Planet were hard, looking back on it. I can't get past the first one in extreme difficulty.
Everyone is so anti-multiplayer... but I'm anti-BioShock 2.
I mean, I'd love some sort of Spiritual Successor, but a direct sequel (prequel)? I think that's sucking too much Adam out of the slug....
I definitely think a jump to dual-core would be a good idea, along with adding another gig of ram. Perhaps one of the upper end 7 series cards-- they're pretty cheap, and could hold you over til you...
I have an AMD Athlon x2 5000
2 Gigs XMS2 DDR Ram
and an 8800 GTS
This game, in short, runs like a dream. The frame rate seems so high that I don't even want to check what it is; I don't want to...
I definitely wanted more. And improved endings (done entirely in-engine, I hate cut-scenes).
*Spoiler* I didn't like the Veta chambers until I came across the journal entry that talked about their origins. Then they fit so well with the story that I loved them.
I haven't read any of the posts in this thread, but I just wanted to say I think the widescreen view looks better than the fullscreen. I genuinely believe that it was their intention for it to look...
Haha, thank you. I'd love to see what the minds that came up with this amazing game could up with for multiplayer. I think it would make everyone saying 'BioShock doesn't need multiplayer' smack...
This was the only part of the game where I was frustrated and couldn't figure out what to do.
It's hilarious after you figure it out, but this is a problem I've seen tons of people on various...
