Yeah, I am expecting the game to have achievements since all recent 2K Steam games except the sports games have them but you never know. I know it sounds silly to some but I will probably get...
Has this been officially confirmed? The store page on Steam makes no mention of them as of yet.
There is no edit button for some reason.
I got my MU at Wal Mart so they would probably take it back but I might need it for when the next 2K game comes out and they change the code to clear the...
I've been playing for a good hour and a half or so with no stuttering with the HDD in. Great that it seems to be fixed but it sucks that several of us spent money we really didn't have to. Guess I'll...
When you clear it using the system blade, it will erase ALL updates you have applied to your games. Not really that big of a deal IMO because it shouldn't take too long to redownload an update when...
Yes, his method will only clear the Bioshock cache.
Anyway, I put my HDD back in, tried his method and it seems to be working. Only played for a few minutes to test it but everyone that is still...
Haha...I got the idea to try the memory card after 10 PM so the only choice I had was Wal Mart. The first one I went to only had the 512 MB card and I didn't really want to spend that much. I ended...
I'm sure there are a lot of people that have played the game without any issues at all. One friend of mine owns the game and has had no problems and I took my disc over to another friend's house and...
LOL...I was thinking the same thing as well. I mean Bioshock can't be any more taxing on the 360 than Gears was so why the problems? It's a damn shame that I had to go out and spend 30 bucks to...
Did you already have a memory unit or did you have to buy one? We should get some vids of the game hitching with our HDDs in and then demand 2K refund us for the price of the memory unit. ;)
Hasn't SecuROM already been cracked anyway? Pretty moronic to piss off your paying customers with something that is completely useless.
Here's the thread with my problems...

I cleared the cache 3 times, deleted all my saves and started over to no avail. Only thing that worked was playing without the HDD attached. Anyway, I'm sure 360 is gonna be on the back burner with...
Yeah, my comp is getting a bit long in the tooth so I am really glad I didn't go for the PC version. :D Anyway, I "solved" my problem of constant pausing by removing the hard drive and buying a...
Well, so far so good with the memory unit in and the hard drive out. Damn shame I had to spend an extra 30 bucks but I'm sure I'll use the mem unit for something else at some point down the road....
I'm not having the same problem as you guys but I am having my own share of troubles with the 360 version. And to think I started playing on consoles more often to avoid this...
I only played at my friend's for like 20 minutes or so. The lagging started right away on mine and on his it seemed fine. Bought a memory unit and getting ready to see if that will work. I swear to...
mathesar: Forgot to ask this in the last post but have you tried playing the game with your hard drive removed?
The demo worked perfectly for me as well. I'm pretty sure that the game is taking forever to load in textures from the disc and that is causing the hitches. Why it worked fine when I took my hard...
Didn't see this when I posted my last message. Anyway, I deleted all my Bioshock saves, cleared the cache again, started a brand new game and then still got the pauses after exiting the bathysphere....
Ok...took the disc to a friend's house at it worked fine. When I got home, I took out the hard drive, played the game and it ran smoothly. I put the hard drive back in and here come the pauses again....
No black boxes here but I got pausing for what seems like texture loading. Maybe we got bum disks...gonna take mine to a friend's in a bit to see if it does it on his 360.
Well, I cleared the cache 3 times and I'm still getting the pausing. If it's my system I don't know why Bioshock is the only game I've had trouble with. I might try to take the disc to a friend's and...
I tried the old "hold the A button while the game is loading" method from Oblivion and that didn't help. I just found out there's a different way to do it now so I'm gonna give that a shot.
I got it at launch and have had zero problems with it up to this point.
