My further support for Civ products hinges on this very issue. I've already uninstalled the game as it is too stale without animations, so I will not be playing it or naturally buying any DLC.
It's garbage and an insult to the community.
I guess it's passable if you just play simple 1v1 games. But most people don't want to just play their wives all day but want to have games with a half-dozen or so people on the internet like we...

Civ 5 MP is dead on arrival as it is pretty much broken until 2K gets around to programming it properly and releases some patches.

The devs couldn't figure out how to get them to work in MP, so they removed them completely.

Steam downloads it automatically. You might not have even noticed it being downloaded, it was so small.
