Have they said why they cut out a load of the game? I know DLC is a part of it, but what about the little things, like in a video from last year it showed a couple of guys trying to mug Vito, police...

I agree on the immersion not being as great as in Mafia 1. Like in Mafia 1 there was a real feel of being in a Mafia family, whereas in Mafia 2 it feels more like you're playing a hired thug.

Yea definitely get it on PC. I played it on a friend's PS2 to help him through it, and it's just horrible to play on console.

So as everything is already there, we're basically paying money for something that will essentially change a 0 to a 1 to enable everything.

Have you checked how far you have actually travelled in it? It tells you the distance you've travelled for a certain car when you look at it in the garage iirc.

1) Not on the main game.
2) Maybe, in Mafia 1 there was roads leading out of the map in to the countryside. I had hoped it would be the same here, but no, so maybe it is future expansion.

I think it's a great game in its own way and I'm disappointed at the same time. I only paid £25 for it off Play.com, which I think is a a fair price. Certainly wouldn't pay the prices Steam are...

Another reason why I prefer Mafia 1 still.

They have to pay it back the same reason Vito's Mother and Sister had to pay back Vito's Father's debt after he died.

I didn't feel any real "Mafia" like feel in Mafia 2 as there was in Mafia 1. I just got the impression I was playing a hired thug in Mafia 2. I still loved the game though, was still great in its own...

I guess so you don't need to fanny around with the disk every time you want to play the game, but when you don't need the disk to play this game, then I've no idea :confused:

It went down slightly for me. I kept using the same car for a while. Filled it up near the start of the game and about half way through it was going down. Though not as fast as it should, especially...

I got about 10 hours on medium. That was driving properly to the speed limit, stopping at lights etc. I didn't really explore properly as I was thinking there would be a free ride option at the end....
