Ah, good, last name isn't in there surpsrisingly. So I'm not going to die!
EDIT: Hmm, I have a feeling that the demo list is only a small portion of the full thing.
I was going to jokingly comment about how no one had mentioned poland yet, then someone mentioned poland. Just so you know, you ruined my hilarious joke (for those confused, visit the Civ V forums)....
I first played the original a couple of years ago (so early to mid twenties), and I can tell you that it is deffinitly not scary. And this is from someone who scares relativley easy.
Want to know...
I find it eerie that I have a common enough name that I'll most likely be randomly generated into other people's games.... Please don't let me die!
It depends on what your founder benifit is for the religion.
Curious. What map size do you use? I'll admit, I play on huge, but my continets have been huge as well, easily fitting ~8-10 civs with lot's of space. Now that I think about it though, I've been...
I don't think there's been any change to map sizes? Are you playing with different settings than you used to? Maybe it was just a bad random map? How many have you generated, just the one continent?
I don't think the Chinese Gatlings getting teh double shots is too overpowered, because that's a promotion you can buy when you level them up enough anyways. But what I haven't seen yet is the +1...
Wow, don't tell the Australians!
I'm voting for gameplay reasons for this. Makes building a city in the dessert more viable, with the limited food sources.
Unfortunatly a buisness doesn't work like that. The more brick and mortar stores that stock their product, the larger the potential audience their game reaches, which equal larger sales. Not everyone...
The Egyptians actually targeted my catapults first, making taking their capital quite the trail. In fact, I was down to my last spearman, the city was weak, my catapults had retreated to heal. I made...
Trust me, you need the catapults!
Ah, I see a bit better now. A strange situation, and a strange AI reaction. Perhaps it's because you accepted to start the war before the agreement to leave their borders was nulled by their war....
1. You broke a peace treaty, sounds like warmongering to me... I wouldn't trust you, that's for sure.
2. But, you broke your word about moving away from the boarder! Of course that's a diplo hit......
That's correct, they don't need Iron. I'm not sure, but they may be even earlier in the tech tree now, can't remember. They're third column into the tree IIRC
The advent of the Electric light bulb made it harder to bring the light of God in to your house?
I'm curious, what else can you use faith points for?
EDIT: also, different question, what are the new map generation types?
I think it's the crabs, non of the others look like crabs.
The major problem I see with it, is that most, if not all, of the new civs have abilities or units/buildings that tie in to the new game mechanics, which would make them incomplatible with vanilla Civ
Well, it's hard to tell yet how large of an effect religion and espionage will have on the game. I do know the AI and combat mechanics are being upgraded, but I believe most of those are going to be...
Unless, of course, you combine it with the +1 Range promotion. Though a gattling gun firing over a hill doesn't make a large amount of sense... but I don't have much sense to spare anyways, so it...
Well, as a parent I can tell you that, at least in Canada, the money given per child isn't an incentive, or some bonus for having children, but simply helps with some of the costs. Don't get me...
Bah, i'm in the same boat. Have fun guessing!
