Mount Fuji is outside his city range anyway...?
Rofl NICE!
Well done!
He still has a point though... Personally I hate manually ordering my workers, but in order to get them to do anything useful i must.
Actually, they dont have any start bias. You are just lucky.
There is a thread somewhere in these forums listing all of the biases. Rome doesnt have any.
It took me one day. Having only 1 city (and loads of puppets) speeds things up considerably. Most of my turn(s) was me ordering my military units. And i disagree with you saying it is not optimal......
Not nearly. The only way i could stay in positive Happyness was to torch (Or maybe never capture to begin with) roughly 90% of my empire. its better to have an unhappy 150 city size empire rather...
The stock tactic for Caesar is simple: conquere lots of land early, settle cities and use the UI "The Glory of Rome" to grow fast.
Unlike any other leader in the game though, Caesar is much more...
Its hard for me not to curse you now, considering i said MULTIPLE times - Barbs cant capture a city, if it reaches 0 hp you lose a small amount of gold. Read back before you post.
And for...
The patch doesnt have anything changing the penalties from unhappyness, which as i just proved, dont mean much if you know how to bypass them.
Or maybe, -30 happyness would equal -5 food starvation, to signify citizens leaving your empire. -40 happyness would be -10 food, -50happyness is -15 food etc... in every city. would also fix the...

Read back, rebels cant take the capital (or any other city for that matter), only rob it for money.
Indeed, i am not done dealing with them just yet... and new ones arrived a few turns back. I bought some more mech infantry of my own to deal with them, and the painful result is most of the rebels...
Actually ive just seen that happen earlier with some lancers (before that last screen, ive had giant rebel masses all game).
Basically instead of losing a city, you get a message "rebels pillaged...
Minus 33%. doesnt really matter as i also have:
+20% for GG
+65% for terrain type
+25 for hiumeji castle (if in friendly territory)
so in the end im still around +60-80% of original strengh.
Rebels manifest as the strongest Units you are able to produce. Thats why i feel like an idiot, as i didnt see that one coming:

Well, at least since...
It takes too much effort to do it. i had those farms at the start and at this point i just have all my Pyramided workers on automate. Also, at +1K per turn, i really dont need extra cash...
He is safe and sound inside my capital :P anyway i just used him. gotten a mech infantry at 1455 AD. had i gotten some science specialists 50 turns earlier, id have mech's in the 1300's. That is on...
It just happened again... Damn.

Well i just got the piety tree going... gone down to roughtly 250 unhappyness now... gonna go for the Order policies next, specifically "planned economy". coupled with the forbidden palace it should...
Yeah when you have 130 cities and some weak rebels pilage your capital over and over again its really no big deal.
Teletubied? i dont get it :]]
GA is from extra GG's :P
I am facing constant rebels though... However even 15 lancers (yeah they come in bigger bunches the more unhappy you are) get dispatched...
Puppet cities, Not me.
I have 127 cities at This time (current time, i didnt finish this game yet). 126 of them are puppets, lol.
