Weapons you want to see.

Pretty hard to not say "copy and paste" CoD:MW2's weapon list (EXCEPT THE MILITIA/BRAZIL WEAPONS!), so let's just say we would like to see as much of those as possible as long as it's balanced.

Would everyone be down for dual-wielded weapons (aka akimbo)? No dual-shotguns of course.

Always love a good flamethrower (make it so it arcs like Killzone 2's flamethrower to reach enemies behind cover).

What else? Remember it's a shooter based on Hollywood realism, not a simulation shooter (in case someone wants to right me a book about "real" special forces).

I do want at a "yin and yang" setup for each firearm family. Like WWII had. I'm just assuming that the rogue commander has access to Dubai's military as well as his own and doesn't the Middle East weapons come from Russia?

I'd like to see the M8 in a game other than Rainbow Six.

I don't think this game needs as much diversity among weapon types as CoD has. Maybe 2 or 3 of each weapon class but any more than that isn't needed. However it's not going to be something that will cause me not to buy this game.

I really hope they stay away from futuristic weapons. Based on the trailer, it doesn't look like there are any, but they just wouldn't fit in this type of game.

Unless there's a supernatural twist (corpses in trailer made me wonder) or a bonus "zombie mode" (CoD:WaW), let's keep the science fiction guns away. Although experimental weapons can stay, heck, no army really uses a personal flamethrower as seen in Killzone 2, but if they label it "experimental", it'll make for some good fun. lol

I would quite like to see a different range of weapons, from shotguns to sniper rifles, etc.

The weapons i'd want to see most, are the HK 416 and the XM8.

Id like to see an old-fashioned Mosin-Nagant. MGS4 managed to give the old battleaxe a modern twist, and Id like to see the same applied here. I love the real one that I own, and Id love to use it in the game.
