I am tried of ranting and raving about iths issue, at least for today, so I won't get all crazy on this post but it is really a shame. Guess I will wait for Halo 3, the blueprint for shooter options, to play one of the big fall titles.

Are you refering to the demo? Everyone is aware that there are no alternative control schemes in the demo but only the TRU SOBs know if the full game does. I would think that those features would be in the full game.

Ouch, sorry about the comment but its annoying that TRU broke release date and the rest of us have to wait. The world is built for right handed people so I can't say I'm stunned but I don't think it would take that much work for southpaw to be added in a patch or something.

If you really wanted to be real about it ,the frist great shooter on consoles were southpaw by default due to the one analog stick (N64, Dreamcast), so don't be a tool.
Good thing that isn't what Bungie thinks, Ubisoft Toronto, or other developers.
I said I wasn't going to debate this but there is always one cat who tries to be clever. They never really know what they are talking about though. Pity.

I am telling you guys. I am looknig at only control scheme here. Someone feel free to correct me next week.

In other words you have a copy that was illigally sold early?... Maybe they have a release patch or something. Especially sine noone's supposed to be allowed to play it prior to release...

How is Halo 3 the blueprint for shooter options?... I remember old games predating halo with plenty of control setups that covered almost every control combination...
And people have had this news before, look around and use the search button.


Also, if the first great shooters were on southpaw by default, why should it be so hard for people to switch up their control scheme? Getting used to the n64 controller was hard for me at first, and now It's natural. On the Gamecube, I could do things easily with both thumbs, despit being right handed... Why can't peopel adapt to the control scheme?

Uh? What would southpaw do? Aim with the left stick and move with the right? Hmm... actually, thinking about it, yeah I rekon it'd be somewhat harder for me (a right-hander) to aim with the left stick. But as a right-hander I also have the strong urge to make fun. I will try to surpress that urge as best a can... *s☺☺☺☺☺☺*.
