Finally found a way to make a MP game actually work!

I am unable to join a MP game and I also seem to be unable to host one when selecting "quick match". I can create one when going the "custom game" route but then nobody joins - I've literally left it on for hours while doing something else and keeping an eye on it with no luck.

Today though I was finally able to play my first MP match on the PS3. I added a bunch of people as "friends" - created a MP game - started the game and then invited the "friends" to join. It actually worked, username 'BettlePants' joined the game. If you read this BettlePants thanks for the game.

( BTW; I highly recommend playing BettlePants, he's a good sport. Didn't leave the game until the very last even though it was clear he had lost many turns before. Watch out for his early rush though.)

Unfortunately, this process doesn't seem to work the other way around as I was unable to join other people's games when I was invited. I cannot believe how buggy this game is. With such a legacy behind them and presumably a high budget 2K could have at least turned out something that worked. It seems they sacrificed quality for sheer profit.

I can just about hear Sid talking... "What? Game doesn't work properly? HA! release it anyway, those idiot fans wont take it back. Now, which one of my private jets should I take to my private vacation island that those gullible fans paid for?"

Please refrain from insulting others. Consider this a warning. Most people that play MP play this way, thats why theres very few games in the public lobby.

When you see people in the public lobby add them as friends.
