Welcome, it is a wonderful May 17, and it is time for The Stream. In our Bioshock News coverage today, we have a first time look at what Bioshock was before its official release. Take a look at this video and see how Neptune's Bounty differed from what you see now. Neptune's Bounty And as we all know, 2K Marin is producing Bioshock 2 and we are all still anxious to see the opening of 2kmarin.com. There is still no set opening date of the 2K Marin website but it will be soon. And we have some very interesting news.... It has become official that Bioshock 2 will become a prequel which is what I certainly was hoping for. If you don't believe me, check out this article below ... Source - N4G.com Czech gaming site Hrej.cz posted new information about Bioshock 2 which comes from some unnamed source within 2k Games. According to the source Bioshock 2 is now in pre-production phase and 2k plans to release it in summer 2009. According to Hrej at this stage of development they are trying to focus on storyline and graphic design. The plot will be set BEFORE events from original game. So it looks like Bioshock 2 will be a prequel and we will witness more about the fall of underwater utopia... Very exciting indeed. Thanks for reading, we will be back next week here on Stream News. Welcome, it is May 18, and it is time for The Stream! A Bioshock animated series? Source - sarcasticgamer.com As we all know and have heard about the new animated series called Ryan's Rapture coming to our televisions soon and we are all very excited, but this is bigger than you may think. Outer Edge Pictures is currently producing the series and it is speculated that the series will be R rated and may appear on HBO. But these are only speculations and are most likely false according to other outside sources. We can only wait and see. Bioshock 2 and the PS3! Source - talkplaystation.com This is the big debate on the net today, whether Bioshock will in fact come to the PS3. The Playstation company is certainly pushing toward Bioshock on the PS3 but it is still unclear if it will happen or not. But if it does, the graphics will over throw the Xbox and may be released for the PS3 as early as September 2009. But Xbox and PC owners, do not fear just yet. The PS3 has not confirmed anything toward Bioshock 2 but as stated before, the Playstation company is certainly not against it Those are today's top Bioshock headlines and thanks for the reading.
