Homemade Weapons remind me of something

the weapons in bioshock that are homeade looking sort of remind me of that old show Kids Next Door. The kids would make homeade weapons out of all odds and ends that would somehow work. Will Bioshock still have these weapons that are made from odds and ends?

My son and I used to watch Codename: Kids Next Door quite a bit, until they changed the time slot, so it rarely comes on now.

I do understand your point, though I think KND weapons still retain a bit of cartoony flair and childish appearance/construction. I doubt you will be able to get far in Bioshock shooting gumballs at people, or smacking them with a wooden board over and over again. Bioshock weapons will probably have more technical, modular components.

right right i am just saying that they have the same feel of a homeade device opposed to a factory mass produced item.

It's one of the skill sets, in the game, iirc. The ability to re-fit or upgrade your weapons. Similar to System Shock 2.

Except in this game your weapons appearance changes and you need raw materials like rubber hose and paint cans.
