I don't see how a lack a multiplayer would hurt the game's chances. Look at the 10's on Gamespot.

Chrono Cross (None)
Soul Calibur (Limited)
Ocarina of Time (None)
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (Doesn't deserve it, so it's irrelevant)

Knights of the Old Republic and Resident Evil IV have received numerous Game of the Year awards, and neither of them have any multiplayer whatsoever. In many cases, the addition of multiplayer was poorly done, detracted from the overall experience, and was criticized. (Ikaruga, Metroid Prime II, The Darkness, Jet Set Radio Future)

O please do get to it brotha...and about the mods and developers answering the questions that were asked regarding the reviews that were scanned, you really do have to love the community we have here. I remember when that first oxm review was put up on the board..good times and good chuckles

It seems BioShock is really getting some good buzz!
Not that I ever thought it would be a bad game, you could always sense there was something "classy" about it, I noticed that in all the videos, podcasts, previews, ...
But still, it's good to know it actually is as good as you hoped, or even better. I didn't read any of the reviews yet, because I don't want anything spoiled, but since hearing that guy on the 1UP podcast talking about it... Got me even more excited! But if the PC Zone review doens't have any real spoilers I'd want to check out the scans

But one thing magazine scans always do is knock the graphical level of bioshock. I know it does for most games but compare BS in motion to them scans and you will see what I mean
