I don't think we ever see a reflection, but if it fools the splicers, I would assume he/we look like any other Rosie.

You got me on the wrench, but I think the lack of gloves and such has more to do with the Devs not having enough memory space for a more accurate depiction. That's why there are so few classes of splicers, and all the splicers in that class look pretty much alike. They spent so much memory on making the background look awesome, that they didn't have much left for other things. Besides, we're going to play the game whether everything makes sense or not--right?
Just my opinion--and a sketchy knowledge of how other Devs have done things. ![]() |

Yes, it does. But when you draw a sketch of something, it usually is not a detailed drawing. Most sketches are done with simple lines and little shading to give a feeling for the subject without spending a lot of time on it.
The word "sketchy" takes that concept of "Having only enough information to give a feeling for something" out of the realm of drawing and into the realm of knowing about things. As I used it, it means that I didn't have an in-depth conversation with a game developer, I just overheard some things which gave me a little insight into how they did things. I've done a little programming myself--all in BASIC--so what I heard made a little sense to me, but not enough to make me an expert, so I used the term "sketchy" to describe it. The English language is a minefield of crossover words which move meanings from one discipline to another. I'm sorry for the confusion--it wasn't deliberate. ![]() |
