I play Bioshock on the PC, and I bought it and play it through Steam, this all running on Vista Home on my notebook. First off, whenever I open the game, it comes up about the size of it as if it were running in windowed mode, only the graphics options say it's running in full screen. It's an easy but annoying/repetitive fix.
Now the more serious problem. At any random time (I've noticed no correlation between the events) the game crashes. I'm given the standard error message that "bioshock.exe" has closed and do I want to look online, yadda yadda. The strange this is, whenever I open the game back up, all of my changes to graphics and controls have been reset. This is everything from graphics levels to mouse sensitivity and altered key bindings. Can anyone give me a clue as to why this is happening? I'll post my tech specs if you want them (the notebook is downstairs atm). |
