What you are saying is true, but still i can't realy figure out how a 13 year old con understand the TRUE meaning of a mature game like Mafia II. I mean if it`s just a FPS i get it, who cars what happens in the story of that game, it's just shooting stuff and killing everyone.
But a game of this value, requires some life experience to understand fully.
No problem with people <18 buying Mafia II if you can handle it! (After all, Mafia II is an offer you can't refuse)

And the voice-acting in my opinion is much better in Mafia 2 from what I've seen. Don't get me wrong Mafia 1 is one of the best games I ever played and I will always love it. But Mafia 2 is going to kick some serious ass!
well 'main character' wise, i think Mafia II's seems more 'gangster' (like voice wise) but at the end of the day i still think Mafia II has a lot to live up to and i can't be certain it will match the level of Mafia (2002) (on PC) was, let alone beat it. but i still have confidence that it has a good chance to at least match it since the core people from the first game are working on the 2nd. but had it changed those 'core guys' then odds are it would not be as good.

because i think in some ways the game will be better than Mafia but in some ways i just can't be so sure from what i seen as i just hope that the core feel will remain top notch with the changes they made to the gameplay. because story and the general characters i aint to worried about. it's mostly gameplay changes that might have me a little worried. (but if the past game is any indication on what this game can be, then i probably should not be worried. but i guess you cant blame me for worrying since this game is one game i damn sure don't want them to mess up since it's pretty much the only game (i.e. Mafia 1 on PC) that gave me that quality movie like masterpiece experience.)

at the end of the day... it has to be good because it's one of the few game (based on the first one) that can WOW me with a great experience which it seems hard to find games nowadays that can do that because while games like GTA4 where 'pretty good' i don't find it to get to that next level which is GREAT and offers a 'film like' experience with even possibly that 'art side' to it also.

p.s. for people who like Mafia i would recommend watching a film called 'Road to Perdition' (2002) ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0257044/ ) as that film seems to come the closest to Mafia's 'feel' (especially out of anything recent-ish (say in the last 20 years or so) in gangster films)... as it's a great film with top of the line cinematography (that scene where Tom Hanks shoots Paul Newman with the Tommy Gun was really well done etc), it's a masterpiece as it's got great music to it/great cinematography/quite entertaining/just a great feel and tone to the film. i also like Jude Law's hitman type character in it (nice scene with him and tom hanks in the diner etc). that's pretty much my favorite Tom Hanks film and he's had quite a few good ones but it seems not everyone is familiar with it vs his more known films like 'Forrest Gump' or 'Saving Private Ryan' etc.

They can't. It's a fact that their brain hasn't made all of the proper "connections" at that age in order to fully understand, or realize what is going on around them (eg: video games, movies, real life situations, adult humor...). It's kinda like watching a Disney movie with your parents when you are a kid, and laughing with them at certain parts but not knowing why it is funny. Then going back when you are 17 or 18 and re watching that same movie, and finally understanding that crude adult humor, in the form of a play on words, in your favorite childhood film.
