I thought he was only 2 when Fontaine and Tenenbaum put him on the sub. Which must have been before 1958 because Tenenbaum leaves Fontaine Futuristics sometime afterward. (I don't know if she recoginized him in 1960 when Jack came back though, she shows no sign of it before the big reveal.)

Wait, do we really want to see Jack in Bioshock 2?
Think about it. He kills Big Daddies. You're a Big Daddy.

It would probably be like a boss battle for him.
