its embedded in the lining of the Hosts stomach, Open wide

Bridgette Tenenbaum - Mass Producing Adam
The augmentation procedure is a success. The slugs alone could not provide enough Adam for serious work. But combined with the host... now we have something. The slug is embedded in the lining of the host's stomach and after the host feeds we induce regurgitation, and then we have twenty, thirty times the yield of usable Adam. The problem now is the shortage of hosts. Fontaine says, 'Patience, Tenenbaum. Soon the first home for Little Sisters will be open, and that problem will be solved...

I always thought it was a boy (voice sounds like a male adolescent). And while we don't have enough evidence to say it's Jack in that diary, we don't know if they did any other mind control tests on other people either. So most people just go on a hunch and assume it's Jack (since he's the only person we know of that had the mind control plasmid used on him).

Note: Do NOT click the black boxes if you don't want to read graphic material involving the harvesting of ADAM from a Little Sister.
Basically what Whitey said. Since they (slug + LS) have a bond that allows the LS to heal almost instantly from any damage inflicted onto her you need to quickly open her up. Stick your hand in the stomach before the hole closes (once your hand is past the hole it won't be able to heal since something is obstructing it), grab the slug, then yank it out. This severes the bond and she won't heal, thereby killing her in the process. This is just speculation of course.

To quote Diane McClintock (who is much more obscure on the matter):
Quote:
We went on a raid outside the wire today. We snagged 31 rounds of buckshot, 4 frag grenades, a shotgun, and 34 Adam. We lost McGee, Epstein and Vallette. We got one of those goddamn Big Daddies in the bargain, though. It was something awful what they had to do to that little girl to get the Adam, but we didn't start this thing. Ryan did. I can't wait to tell Atlas. He'll be so pleased...

My initial thoughts are that youre right because i dont think he ever was able to get rid of his age progression, but when i think about it more, maybe the age progression only accelerated him to a prime physical age and deccelerated to a normal rate after that. when you look at the hands of the LS in the good ending they dont look to be the hands of a 17-20 year old girl but a 40+ woman

Jack is not returning beacuse his story is over (assuming the splicers took the submarine on there own) jack has left rapture and is likely the other of the book on "there's somthing in the sea". You know the one to the left that talks about "juciers".

ok my theroy is that either the the bad version accurd and jack is taking his place as ryan's hier and is controlling the big sister and is behind the whole thing,in somthing in the sead they report a werid submarine could it be the one they capture at the end of the first one in athe bad ending? or metzler goes to find his daughter in rapture and hears about jack already going their so gets him as a kind of "guide" for finding his daughter(after the good ending) then run into and team up with the first big daddy, and maby someone like OOL is running rapture now idk thats my thery still trying to find one that fits both endings

I've read the theories/thoughts and they all make sense and have validity. However, my suspension of disbelief knows no bounds. And it makes me want to think that having JACk back even in the smallest of roles(ie. dialogue or cut scene) would be frick'n awesome for those who know BS1, in and out all ways, brass balls to the wall. Unlikely, but I will hold my disbelief up with a crane if need be and be overjoyed!

There are pictures of Jacks face, surveillence pictures. Also Jack was born 1958 according to the wiki. Meaning he'd be 2 "real" years

Quote:
Theory of Jack's Aging

It can be heard in an audio diary from Dr. Suchong that Jack grew to the size and physical condition of a 19-year-old when he was just two years old. Doing the math, and considering the average human life span, Jack could quite possibly have died when he was only 8 "real" years old (when speaking of the good ending, of course). On the other hand, the evidence against this theory consists of scenes of the Little Sisters he took to the surface growing up, receiving their college diplomas and marrying, which assumes that Jack lived for at least two decades (the absolutely minimal time it would take those Little Sisters to attend school and then college, and then marry and have children) after the Bioshock events.
So I'm guessing they aged him to his physical prime age and the slowed it down not knowing when they'd need him. He was called back 1960, he's about 20 but 2 "real" years, assuming the good ending he'd just be living his life with his daughters, the five little sisters he took with him, during the events of Bioshock 2.

Maybe Tennenbaum left with some little sisters, that might also fit with the sun setting over the atlantic ocean since she is from that side... But I dunno... Some theories are great, other are simply just stupid
