The difference between rescuing them and harvesting them is slim, but it is still there. On Easy and Medium the extra Adam doesnt mean as much, but early on playing Hard difficulty, it does help some. You can beat the game using the wrench without Plasmids or using any Adam, so a little Adam isnt going to make or break a game. You get 80 for saving and 160 for harvesting, and every 3rd little sister you save you get a gift of 200.
80*3+200=440-Saving 160*3=480-Harvesting Over the course of the game it will be around 300 more Adam. |

So, I imagined the 2000 Adam bonus basket in the last gift?

It would be seriously really lame if you got more adam by rescuing them. Would take all the moral dilemma away and there wouldn't be a real reason to harvest except that you want to kill little girls.

Resucuing is way better - you get basically as much Adam, but you also get free plasmids, ammo and money. So it is better in the long run.

None of which require ADAM. You get them all by default.

... Yes. But I was responding to the bit about winning the game using only a wrench and no plasmids.
