Black Screen after Intro

Hi, just got BioShock and a new laptop to play it on, but it doesn't work.

The game loads fine, and even plays the little 'on the plane' intro sequence. It then shows the BioShock Logo and just stops on a black screen.

My specs are:

-Vista Home Premium 32bit
-Intel Core Duo 2 T7300 2x2GHz
-2048Mb DDR2 RAM
-NVidia Geforce 8600M GT
-Onboard Audio (Probably)
-Retail Box copy of BS

The Video card drivers are up to date.

Any help Appreciated

I downloaded them (from the link the game installation opened) But when I try to install them it tells me I'm not using 32 bit Vista (Which I am). I assumed it was something to do with the fact I'm using a laptop, and the drivers weren't compatable.

The nVidia site tells me to upgrade directly from Acer, and that sit tells me I'm up to date.
