So anybody else that is banned on some other forum? Because as of now, I think I am permanently banned from bungie.net because the company was BMSing (Bungie Menstrual Cycle). And all I did, was post information over Halo 3 I found on the internet.

Well, as long as everybody here takes a solemn oath not to go running around and spreading this information, I will repost what I posted on Bungie. This is because I kinda like my account here, and I don't want to be banned from communicating with other Bioshock fans. Either that, or I'll just PM whoever wants to know. Because, you can still search on google for stuff like this.

By the way, because of the recent bannings on Bungie, my respect for Bungie and Halo 3 has dropped immensely, so that I am debating on whether to purchase a used copy of Halo 3.

Edit: Actually, on second thought, I'll just PM people. Because Bungie scouts are everywhere. So just request a PM and I'll copy/paste from Microsoft Word what I wrote.

It can't be that serious, surely. Why would 2K ban you for posting gossip about Bungie?

No idea, but I was on another forum, and somebody posted some stuff about Halo 3. And a couple days later, the stuff was removed. I was sure that Bungie had something to do with it, because the posts did not violate any of that forum's policies.

Did you agree not to disclose the information when they gave you the beta? It looks like stuff that might have been protected by a Non-disclosure agreement.

No idea, maybe. But oh well, doesn't matter. Most people on Bungie forums can't hold up a conversation anyways. I mean people post stuff all the time they find on the internet. It just depends on how detailed the stuff is I guess.

It just depends on how detailed the stuff is I guess. If the demo wasn't given to you they might re-instate your membership (if you apologise and tell them you weren't part of the beta testing team and offer them the link to the source of the information). They probably think you've broken an NDA (non-disclosure agreement). If you email them and apologise and explain, they might let you back on the forum.

not if he doesnt have a static IP, which most people don't, as it costs more money to have an ip address that is off limits to anyone but you.

My one Account on Gamespot was banned, somebody was arguing and I can banned for Disruptive posting (I think Spamming because I just kept posting the same thing over and over again), flaming, but then I made a new name when I got suspended then I ended up with that name Permanent Banned, then when I made my new name I tried not to get banned again, they had it where I couldn't post for a week then I was able to post when I got back on Gamespot in October or November because I couldn't go on the Internet for from June - November that year because my Cable was out, and my account started on May of that year.

What were you doing to get banned so many times? :confused:I only got banned once I just did all that at one time. The rest of that post was about me not wanting my new account there not to get banned again.

I'm guessing you got banned from the bungie forums for posting what people found out about from hacking the beta. It's all over the internets now.

I got banned from Gamespot a couple times. Once for saying "$130 for a couple extra DVDs and a Helmet? No thanks, I'll buy it, burn the DVDs and resell it" and the other time for "first to comment on mediocorenews. woopie?" on a bullet witch update during the middle of GDC where tons of great news was coming out.

I dont go there too often anymore.
