Bioshock Blood?

Hey all.
I've got the mouse working fine, Ive got decent framerate, and I've sorted the widescreen.

One thing I can't seem to find help on is my problem with the blood.

I've seen a few picture and videos on the net of this nice shiny blood that come out of people when they get shot or hit with the wrench. The blood I see is more...cartoony... red and white ( I asume it's meant to be lighting) spashes out the body then disapears. It's a bit blocky and doesn't seem to look right. (Blood puddles look fine)

Just wondering what everyone else's blood looks like...am I missing something.

have u got german version or steam version because this version is cut

Retail version bought in the UK. Should I take it back and exchange it? Maybe a load of cut version made it to the UK too.

yup that the image i saw...plus a couple of videos..search for bioshock gameplay in yahoo. theres a 7 minute hi res one.
So is there any way round this or have we got the cut version?

I have the regular US version (should be anyway) and mines looks like that too, in fact I wish there was options to scale this stuff, i dont like the beign attacked flashes or whatever they are at all anyway.
