Hey, I've never actually sat down and posted anything on an internet forum before, but I just had to say something. This game is awesome!!! I had to buy a new video card to run this beast, and I was pretty angry about that... for about five minutes. I'm only half-way through it and this is my best single-player game experience since Half Life 2. Keep up the good work guys, and don't let the "haters" get you down.

Glad you are having a great experience with Bioshock, but I wanted to address your comment about the "haters."
No one hates this game. What people are upset about it is draconian DRM malware, a less-than-perfect widescreen implementation, and crashes (especially on the 360).
These issues have led frustration, because people REALLY want to play this game, and an issue with some of the 2KGames staff (rightly or wrongly) that post on this board.
Has everyone been civil about it? No. I wish.
Are these concerns valid? Yes.
Does anyone "hate" the game, 2K, or Irrational? I don't think so. In fact, most people here want nothing more than to play this game.

I agree with you, the game is FANTASTIC, no one is saying wrong.
But the issue is... the free rootkits you get with it.
Nonetheless, this is a fantastic game, 2K just needs to reconsider their horrible mistake.

Like the first guy said, this is a game on the same level as HL2, and one of the first shooters that ive enjoyed since i bought HL2, but i bought the 360 version because i cant afford to upgrade my pc in a way to give this game justice. Luckilly, it only crashed on me once(after about 10 hours of nonstop play) and it was fine.

Agreed, this game is something too awesome to describe by simple words. I actually feel very sad for all those people who contributed to making this game for what 2K did with the release. While it's true that games need some kind of copy prot, rootkits and activation limits are not the way, they cause more harm than good, as can be seen here.
Actually, I see the activation limit even bigger problem than the rootkit, especially since I like to crack all my games , which sometimes makes uninstall fail, so I don't have to be changing discs every time I change game. I only hope that activation limit is either removed or cracked in future, since this game will be one of those I'm gonna be installing over and over again.
So it's many thanks to Ken and the crew, hope you get a better publisher for your next release (BioShock 2, pretty please...)
