**** SecuROM, that will be my first point in this post. I installed Bioshock the first time and wound up with lockups in the bathysphere (my other thread covers that). I uninstalled Bioshock and restored it using a friends backup of the game. Now I get the SecuROM error in the title. I can't even uninstall it, because when I try to delete local content, I get the error "Revocation is not possible, you have no valid Unlock Code set!"
This doesn't make any sense to me, all my other steam games work fine when restored from someone else's backup. At this point it looks like I'll have to completely re-download the game, 8 ****ing gigs, because of bull**** SecuROM, and I don't even know if it will fix my problems!
I don't give a damn what the online review sites say, I give this game a 1/10 for being a royal pain in the ****ing ass.
Specs:
EVGA 8800GTX
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66ghz
EVGA 680i SLI mainboard
2 gigs Corsair XMS2
Soundblaster Audigy ZS 2
Windows XP Professional SP2
All latest drivers
