Biosohck not working for me

This may be a stupid question but is there a way for Bioshock to work with my ATI X800 graphics card or is it too outdated? All the rest of my specs more than meets the recommended specs but I haven't been able to pick up a better graphics card yet...

Just to clarify, when I start up the game, I have no mouse cursor, and when I manage to start the game I see the opening cinema, then everything gets all weird and i see weird shapes on the screen.

Bad news - yup - card's too old. Must be DX9.0c compliant. The X800 series just barely missed the cut.

A few "industrious" types are already working on a hack to allow Shader Model 2.0 cards (I.E. - yours) to work with BioShock. Please understand it's a community driven hack, so don't expect success, let alone perfection.

Either way, get ready for a new VC purchase.
