Bind key

Hi everyone!

I just installed Bioshock, i began a game, but the controls where very strange, like Z for foward.

So i went in the conrol panel, and i tried to change the keys, S and D for Backward and for Right work perfectly, but i cant bind W and A to Foward and Left, the game tell me that those key are reserved.

I would be surprised if there is nothing to do, all FPS move with W,A,S,D as i know.

Ya - I know what you mean. I use abnormal controls as well (num-pad arrows; can't stand the diagonal positioning of letter keys). I get a lot of **** from my gaming friends for not using wasd, but screw 'em!:p I've been using the num-pad for ages, and have only seen a handful of games that don't support complete re-mapping of the controls (which generally suck anyways). Pretty much nothing can turn me off of a game faster than bad control support (maybe bad camera angles, but I usually don't get turned on to those games in the first place), so I definitely hope any non-supported mapping options get worked out asap.

hmm... on second glance, it looks like you were trying to use wasd and it wasn't letting you... that's just weird. I stand by my position, tho - keys should never be "reserved" :)

i think its some kind of bug after youve changed some keys. i have an odd config as well. and when i tried to bind R it says it was reserved. i went and changed reload, which was bound to R to something else and it still wouldnt let me use R. very buggy.

A lot of people have been having the same problem, try this thread, I'm trying to keep it from overspawning.
