Heres the problem, demo installs fine and I can navigate and change options in the menu fine. When I choose the difficulty and it starts to load the game for the first time it just goes black and hangs and never loads. Sometimes it'll be just a black screen while other times it will be black with a hint of the actual load screen showing barely but it never loads. When I alt tab and check task manager, it reports the demo as "Not Responding".
The only way I can play this game is in Windowed mode or if I force it to play in DX9. While playing in DX9 full screen though I get about half the fps that I get playing it in windowed DX10 mode according to FRAPS (everything max). Anywho, I want to be able to play in full screen mode properly with DX10 but cant and im worried the full game might have the same problem.
Ive updated everything, using the beta Bioshock Nvidia drivers. Reinstalled the demo twice from different sources, reinstalled drivers twice using driver cleaner the 2nd time.
Specs: C2D e6700, 4GB RAM, 8800GTS, 2x250GB HDD, Vista Prem.
