Well, not 2K that's for sure. I've just been through the tech threads to see if I can find an answer to why the PC demo doesn't run on my platform. I've gone through 20 or so threads from start to finish and not one of them has a response from 2K or the BioShock team. In fact, us PC users seem to have been redirected to this dark little corner of the internet to see if we can sort the problem(s) out ourselves. MAJOR SUCKAGE!
This is starting to look very much like a game aimed at the console, but we'll see if we can soak up a few PC dollars while we're at it. MAJOR MAJOR SUCKAGE!
Problem:
After the ride in the submersible the demo crashes just prior to loading the first level.
System:
Athlon 64 3200+
1gb RAM
80Gb HD
6800XT XFXForce 256MB GCard
Asus A8N5X Mobo
All drivers up to date + the beta NVidia driver
