The BioShock demo crashes at the second loading screen, right after the bathysphere ride. I have a Dell Precision M90 with a 512MB Quadro 2500M video card. I have version 8.4.2.9 of the Forceware drivers, and for some reason I cannot use the new beta drivers.

Is there anything I can do? The Nvidia website is incredibly vague and doesn't give me the resources I ask for. It says there are no new updates for my drivers, even after I uninstalled them and had version 00.00.

Is there anything I can do? It's very frustrating--the games runs as smooth as butter, but I crash to the desktop every time the second loading screen comes up. I have seen solutions to the problem, but not for laptop users.

Thanks for your help!

Quattros are not meant for gaming.

They're not compatable with the new forceware drivers, the new forcewares only are compatable with geforce line. I wouldn't be suprised if the card didn't even have SM3.0.

Regardless, the card is not listed as supported in the game system requirements.

Quadros are fine for gaming, this is the first product I've had an issue with.

I was asking if there was a fix for it yet, and if there isn't than that answers my question. The card definitely has SM3.0--I would not be able to run the game at all without the proper shader support...

Does anyone know if there's a solution to my problem?

Now here's an odd issue...

If I turn off the advanced shaders, it gets past the loading screen just fine. But if I turn them back on after the loading screen, it's still fine! It loads the advanced shaders just fine and everything looks picture-perfect.

What the hell is going on, and how do I fix it? The game flips out and freezes once in a while, but only for a minute or two instead of just crashing to the desktop.
