View Full Version : An amazing feat/Glitch!!

WOW! Today I was playing Bioshock for my 6th or 7th run through, I just photographed Fitzpatrick feelin' pretty upset at seeing him die once more I wanted something to cheer me up. After I passed the glass door with the R, I noticed three spider splicers. They did some weird circle'y dance thing and didn't attack me once! To my amazement one jumped up onto the Massive roof covering the atrium (I have never seen this before and never thought it possible!) then the other two followed defying gravity, they then dropped down in unison and attacked a Big daddy it was am amazing attack but they failed and I had to finish off the BD Amazed, I laid them to rest with a guitar Calling them: The three amigo's! What do you guys think? Has it happened to you? Is it a glitch? :confused: :D
yeah I've seen that once, but they attacked me after dropping down and not the big daddy. and there were only two.

Lol. Yeah, that's a glitch. People have gotten that one a lot. I've played about 30 times now and it's only happened twice. The first time I saw it, I was amazed as well. The second time, the splicer got stuck on the ceiling and, well, did this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8Y2lc0emWU LOL.
'The 3 Amigos' is pretty funny, though. Would be great if you could get a screenshot of that. :p

I didn't know that was a glitch... I thought that was a scripted event. It happened on all of my playthroughs so far (26 times). 3 spider splicers will be standing on the second floor of the main atrium, they'll keep walking back and fourth until you start down the stairs. Then they jump onto the ceiling and try to ambush the Elite Bouncer...failing horribly in the process.
However if you go through one of the other entrances and sneak up on them. They'll attack you instead of the Bouncer. :confused:

Hmm...well, there's a glitch in which the splicers will literally float up to the ceiling and stay there then come back down and float up again. I've heard of that one happening before. I've never seen those spider splicers in the atrium, though. :confused: Well, maybe once, but can't remember. :o

I feel bad for that Splicer in the video. At first, it looked like he was flailing for help. Then, he became magnetically attracted to the ceiling corner and struggled to get free. :(
Anyone get a video of the Splicers jumping to the high ceiling? :D

LOL! That video was awesome! I wish I had taken a video or a pic of 'The three amigo's' Course, I din't think anything was gonna happen until I saw them.
