I've always ignored things saying Rapture is a real place, but when I went to portugal in July I swear there was a faint light far away in the ocean, it wasn't a ship because I looked out my balcony and saw the same light, same location. Maybe it's true maybe Rapture is real? Has anyone gone to the same Hotel (Brisa sol) and saw the light?

Even if Rapture WAS real * I am not saying it is* how would Rapture's lights reach miles top the top of the Ocean? Rapture is all the way at the sea floor.

It was probably just a sub

Epic discovery????

No. Probably not.

But it is kind of weird that a recognizable light is out in the middle of the ocean, like that from how far away that must have been.

If rapture was real I think the light would be the light house but it would still be a stretch to see it. Although you probaly saw a sub like seasick said or a boat.

Even if Rapture were real, there's no way you could have seen all to the way to it's location from Portugal. That's way to far to be able to see.

Sorry to disappoint, but Rapture is not real. No question about it. And you probably didn't see anything, but if you think you did it was probably a UFO.

Even though Rapture ain't real there has always been a part of me that wants to go to its co-ordinates! 63° 2' N, 29° 55' W. Just to say i've been there :D

Ok must've been a trick of the eye or something like that, if Rapture was real the lighthouse wouldn't be glowing.

Rapture is definitely not real. I'm sure you saw a small fishing boat, it's very common in Portugal.

Or an oil rig. Can see one right now out of my window, it sometimes burns exessive oil and thus creating light.

i would love for someone to go to it`s in game location and take a picture. imagine if there was a lighthouse. i think i would literally crap my pants. if it was me who was there and there was a bathysphere i wouldn`t go in there for a billion dollars.

Haha me neither! There are two major problems with going to Rapture: Its about 50 years since it was created, and the maintance was bad THEN. 2, if there was anything alive down there, it would likely be either a fish or a splicer and neither would be fun.;)
