Is there any way that I could still get the limited edition of Bioshock with the figurine and everything or am I just out of luck on that?

hmmm I'd say your probably out of luck on that :( I work at Gamestop and we hardly ever get Bioshock traded in and the only time limited edition was traded in was around the time of launch. The only other limited edition I've seen is on ebay. Theres one catch though...Its $500!!!!! so if you really want it then theres always ebay :D

All stores that sold them are pretty much out of stock now, replaced with those of newer released games. Your best bet for one would have to be eBay, thats where i got mine from. Some are too expensive, dont give the seller that much for it since it never cost that much to begin with and the money is going to them not to 2K. I got mine for a good price and in brand new condition. I dont think theres really anywhere else that you would be able to get it now. Take a look and see if you can get one for a good price

Depends where you live though as to which eBay it will be for you. The US ones ive seen are at ridiculous prices (see above post) but the UK one is pretty reasonable priced ones. You could keep checking though, new stuff gets added all the time

yeah I'm watching a few on ebay that aren't too bad and there's one on amazon that might come with the big daddy figurine which is the main reason i want it. I just have to wait for a reply from the seller.

Yes if the seller has either listed it internationally so it will also show up in searches made from the .com site, or in the UK site list that they will ship internationally. If it doesnt say in the listing then you can always just contact the seller and ask them if they would ship to the US. Most of the time they probably would if you just ask them. They would have to find out the price first though

If theres nothing reasonably priced on the US site then look through the UK one and see if any would send internationally. If not just ask the seller and see what they say

Might want to be careful though if you insist on buying one. Those guys can pull shenanigans on you, like "Oh, sorry. Didn't you read the fine print? Big Daddy figurine is an additional $100." or if they're a private seller that doesn't care about their seller rep, then they'll just sell you a piece of junk, then never talk with you again. Even if some are legit, they'll still ask for an arm and a leg.
It's better if you just catch the BS2: CE train and forget this one.

Yeah be careful of those types. If you're going to buy then i'd recommend buying from someone with a good rep and high percentage positive feedback. Power Sellers are even better, or buy from someone with a shop rather than a private seller. These are much more trustworthy people to buy from

Another safety measure is to buy with paypal. It covers you for any purchase. If you get something as it wasnt in the description eg the figure arrives broken but wasnt listed as being broken, then you can also start a dispute through eBay with the seller for a wrongly described item. Paypal will also fight to get your money refunded and the seller can be reported to eBay as untrustworthy. Paypal is the safest way to buy and should result in your money being returned if there are any problems

As Ureh said, check any fine print that they arent going to suddenly charge you extra or anything. If unsure then dont buy and look for the same thing from another seller

I found a reasonably priced one from the UK on ebay. Would that game play in my 360 or would it not since its from the PAL region?

I don't believe so. The only system I know of that does that is the DS

Ah yeah, i forget about regions... Dont suppose it would work, like DVDs they are different regions and wont work outwith eg US is DVD region 1 and UK is region 2. Suppose games would be the same. Have never tried it but i dont suppose it would work. Some however are classed as region free and would work worldwide. There arent many of those though so unless you can find one for Bioshock then you'd have to stick to US format to be able to play the game. You could still buy the CE from the UK only not be able to play the game. Maybe sell that one on and replace it with a US region format one? Is a possibility if you're stuck for other options since the CE on US eBay seems to be way more expensive

Forgot about Amazon as well. Worth checking there too, though last time i checked there i think it was rather expensive as well..

here are all of the amazon.com options (used and new)

The only problem with amazon is that most of the used ones, which are the only ones with reasonable prices, don't have the big daddy figurine. I think that Bioshock might be region-free though, so if that's the case I could play the UK version here in the US. I'll have to do more research.

According to this right here, I think I might be ok

Is Bioshock gonna be region free?

The main version that supports EFIGS (english, french, italian, german, spanish) will be a worldwide release, so that version will run on machines worldwide. This version, however, is Unrated for Germany and will not be sold in Germany.

The special version that will be sold in Germany has a different rating and supports German and English languages only.

I ended up buying it for the PC (I originally rented it for the 360) from ebay for a total of $41, which I think is pretty good. Thanks for all your help guys.
