Sorry if this has been posted before but I searched for it everywhere and couldn't find an answer. Could anyone link me or give me the detailed forumla on scoring please.

I think the answer is "basically it doesn't". Think of scoring system as a women with pmt, it'll do what it likes when it likes, and nothing you can do will stop it.:eek:

I have not seen any formula either, but it seems to depend on the ranks of the players. E.g. if you are on the top and win, you only get 1-2 points (sometimes even 0), but if you lose a game then you lose 30-40 points on average (sometimes more). OTOH, if you are ranked low and win, you get 30+ points but you only lose 1-2 for lost games. But as Jaguar-Man so eloquently put it, there are all kinds of surprises with no rational explanation...
So, the developers may have had some formula in mind (and it would be interesting to know that one) but practica buggy nature of the game and leaderboard wracks all sort of havoc on the intentions anyways.
