seeing how this game is based on survival and the choices the player faces when trying to survive in rapture i thought up some qestions
1 is cannibalism an option ?
seeing how the game is going 18+ anyway and that cannibalism has happened in extreme cases i just had to know if this was possible.
2 how exactly is the player supposed to get adam out of the little sisters ?
the friendly way seems to involve that needle but what about the evil way ? (cannibalism ?)
3 will the player at some point develop the means to extract adam from corpses ?
and if yes how will it be balanced as it seems the player will be able to safe up large amounts of adam as he/she keeps killing through the story line.
and some general qestions
1 i am sort of a collector of AI goofs in many videogames and as such i have to ask what sort of funny/unexpected things did the AI controlled characters do over the course of the development ?
and if possible is there some footage available ?
2 i am really impressed with the water effects and how it can be used in conjunction with plasmids like that electric spark plasmid.
will be be able to get a plasmid that allows us to use water as a weapon ?
for instance a fire hydrant effect to flush away splicers ?
and if we do get a waterjet plasmid will that water stay in the room even to the point of flooding it (god i hope so that would be so cool we dont even have a word to describe it)
3 regarding injury's what types can we expect and inflict ?
with this i mean broken bones and unconsciousness.
could the player be knocked unconscious in the water and drown ?
thank you for reading my Questions and please forgive my grammar i am dutch.

i don't think you will need to eat something to survive... at least i didn't see or read anything about it.

Okay, first off...that's still pretty gross.
Secondly, maybe with the modifications done to your body, you won't need food anymore.

She's just a little blood Sucking Vampire. Just wield a little Garlic or wooden stake her way. She be more cooperative then. :D

My goal in the game will be to become as much like the Protectors ("Big Daddies") as possible, so stay the heck away from my Gatherers ("Little Sisters"). Beaches.

you'll be able to eat screws and bolts and junk you find lying around for health bonuses, so maybe thats a kind of mechanical cannibalism? i doubt you'll be able to gnaw corpses though

yeah but it would be quite unique to actually have that option ;)
if you can eat metal stuff with the iron gut plasmid then why should you not be able to eat the dead

I assume that it will be just like picking an object off a corpse. How the player gets it out of her I gut I dont know and I assume it wont be shown in the game, so it magic.

yeah it would be so awesome if irrational would do such a thing :D
games have become so incredibly soft when it comes to blood and gore up to the point where you dont even have any blood at all (medal of honour allied assault anyone ?)
i want games to be realistic especially when it involves firearms and explosives.
in games its ok to have serious blood and guts because its just a game (and it would be nice if parents started to keep an eye out on what sort of games their kids play so developers wont have to censor themselves anymore)
to me its an important part of the game to make it credible and with that enjoyable to me.

I can't answer most of these, but:

I like those too :-) At the moment, the best I can think of is when some AIs tried to walk over the top of a big rotating gear, and got stuck walking in place, like a treadmill. There's bound to be more, but I'm not remembering them offhand. Stuffy marketing people are unlikely to let us release that sort of footage, I'm afraid!
Our AIs do do a lot of goofy stuff, but a lot of it is actually not "goofs", but complex emergent wackiness that we went to a great deal of trouble to make possible. Three-way fights breaking out spontaneously because someone wandered into someone else's line of fire, that sort of thing.
If you like AI wackiness, I suggest you check out Thief: Gold. There's a hidden level there that functions as a sort of "blooper reel", with all sorts of strange AI (and other) bugs proudly on display :-)

As for water effects, any chance of having a difficulty slider that allows more and more (possibly all) of Rapture to be flooded if you don't progress fast enough? Possibly with a way to repair leaks? One of the coolest things about SS 1 was the plot difficulty options with the hardest one putting a time limit on the game. Too many games let you wander around for unrealistic amounts of time (I'm pointing at you Square and Bethesda! LOL)
Different sorts of injuries sounds awesome too...imagine using up all your ammo on a Big Daddy only to just blow off a leg and have to flee Terminator-like
