Planned localizations?

I wonder how the localizations are planned. Will we hear German and French voice overs in Europe, for example?

I'd like to see the English VO and text as an addition on all localized packages included, if DVD space allows it. Thereby I don't need to import an expensive US/UK version when I want to enjoy Bioshock in it's original splendor. Are there any such plans 2K people?

What are plans for dubbing/sub titling the game for non-English speaking countries?
We’ll be fully localizing the audio portion of the game as well as any on screen text. We audition and hire actors for the territories we’ll be releasing the game in.

Well, I dont know, I think I will buy the German version and trust in the actors' talent.

Otherwise I hope there is enough space left on the disc so that English voice overs are still an option. The English voice actors from the trailers are superb.

I don't think the English voices would take up much space. Though, I'm not sure. Or if it won't fit on the disc, they could release it as a downloadable patch. :)

That would be nice, but I'm sure they won't do it. They also decided not to put the english VO on the German Jade Empire Special Edition, so I wouldn't get the hopes up. Besides, it's pretty certain the German version of Bioshock will be cut, since you can kill or manipulate little kids there.

Localised subtitles would be easier and cheaper to impliment. also, it'd take up less disk space.
