Besides Bioshock,
Realms of the haunting was always one of my favourites.
Oblivion would kill some time.
Dead rising.
Something open ended like Theme park or Sim city.

I'm guessing I can't choose a mmorpg ;)

I've got six (I guess if I had to give up one it would probably be Forza)

Startopia

Wind Waker

Mafia

Forza

Phantom Crash

Moto GP

Deus Ex & DOOM

As for stalker, I can't really tell, I just got it yesterday. I'll have to finish it like 5 times before I make a decision. But the game is f addictive, time just floats away when I play it.

Rather than just listing 5 top games, I’m going to take the thread’s question more literally and list 5 I would like to have with me if I was deserted on a tropical island, that I’ll assume has a top of the line computer, a makeshift shanty for cover and a geothermal vent that powers an electric generator. Not to mention the other things required for survival, like ice skates for personal dental work, and a volleyball to talk to that I will name Wilson.

Since I would need these 5 to kill lots of time when not exploring the lush landscape, they would need to offer lots of repetitive, lengthy gameplay:

- S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Offers a fairly lengthy post-apocalyptic shooting environment which can be approached fast or slow. Multiple endings to achieve.
- Titan Quest w/ Immortal Throne
Mindless hack’n’slash for the item find, plus I am a mark for ancient mythology.
- Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion
Looooong, with various paths and side quests to take.
- Thief 2: Metal Age
For a different style of gameplay, plus access to a plethora of fan missions.
- Galactic Civilizations 2 w/ Dark Avatar
Chews up time with its ‘one more turn’ philosophy. Designing starships take up more time than some entire FPS games.

Each of these games is a different fiction genre as well (dystopia, medieval fantasy, Sword/Sorcery, steampunk, space opera)

I'd take any game that has multiplayer. That way I could request a rescue.

what's up startopia buddy? i love that game.Hey honey bunny ;)

It is excellent (and a sandbox mode for those long nights on the island ;))

if i could do a MMORPG i'd do WoW. warcraft 3 or starcraft should also be on my list.I played a little Eve but it was a bit too low-key for my tastes. I guess if I was going to play a mmorpg it'd probably be WoW, although I might end up on Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean MMORPG (basically because it's free :/ ;) )

(Zedem be with you ;))

Man you guys are really, really close to mine. Here is mine:
Actually I wouldn't take bioshock :p :p

Eternal Darkness-Have played it just it got lost and I got nowhere.

Oblivion- You could spend over a year with that game. (And if I had the expansions...)

The Darkness- If you've never heard of this game, go to Game Trailers.com and look at the devoluper walkthroughs and commercials. It looks tight.

Half life 2 and all of its expansions- I got kindof far till I coulden't get to play it anymore. It would also be fun to do the portals campian. (Except after the first time you would know how to do the puzzels.

Well actually I guess I would take bioshock..
Wait sorry NM RE4- If you have never played this game... What the hell man?
